A local tv show last Saturday has featured blogging as one of their topics. It described blogging as an online journal, somewhat like a diary. Some people got fired because of that and others found the comfort they are looking for. Some may express their emotions about something they wanted to know the world about like love and hate. There is also one person who said that he made money with his blog. But this was not really the main topic of blogging in that show. The main topic was blogging as an online journal not as a source of income.

I was laughing because these bloggers have cool laptops and yet they do not know that they can make money blogging more than anyone else. You can be your own boss even without any experience. I even won a hundred dollars on a contest online. What they do not know is that there are bloggers that do not just blog about their life.

Do you know a guy named Makoy? Nope, it is not the Makoy you think he is. He is not the Makoy from Kung Fu Kids. He is much cooler than that. This Makoy is a Filipino blogger. If you have visited his blog, his posts are very informative. He can post anything about Pinoy on lifestyle, politics and entertainment. He even has another blog showing another side of his personality and that is being a poet. He blogs and writes poetry at the same time. If I were asked to think of a new course in college, I would say it will be the course of blogging. The Bachelor of Science in Blogging. It sounds funny. So maybe, I’ll change it to Bachelor of Science in Web Marketing or Associate in Online Marketing which can be a short-term or a long-term course. I am sure this course will fit in today’s jobs-in-demand.

It is suitable for shy, introvert people who have their own worlds and prefer to keep quiet.
Web marketing is like blogging and if you know how to blog, then you can earn before you finish the course. You will be earning more than you spent for getting a degree and who knows when you graduate, you are already a millionaire. (more…)
