A local tv show last Saturday has featured blogging as one of their topics. It described blogging as an online journal, somewhat like a diary. Some people got fired because of that and others found the comfort they are looking for. Some may express their emotions about something they wanted to know the world about like love and hate. There is also one person who said that he made money with his blog. But this was not really the main topic of blogging in that show. The main topic was blogging as an online journal not as a source of income.

I was laughing because these bloggers have cool laptops and yet they do not know that they can make money blogging more than anyone else. You can be your own boss even without any experience. I even won a hundred dollars on a contest online. What they do not know is that there are bloggers that do not just blog about their life.

Do you know a guy named Makoy? Nope, it is not the Makoy you think he is. He is not the Makoy from Kung Fu Kids. He is much cooler than that. This Makoy is a Filipino blogger. If you have visited his blog, his posts are very informative. He can post anything about Pinoy on lifestyle, politics and entertainment. He even has another blog showing another side of his personality and that is being a poet. He blogs and writes poetry at the same time. He is also having a contest right now that can get you a chance to win fifty dollars.

Today, the Filipinos are suffering from price hike. Am I correct? But Makoy still managed to give away free cash. Having an attitude like Makoy is not very common for guys at this age. Imagine what fifty dollars can do? They would rather waste money for pleasure.

My advice, start your blog and learn how to make money from it instead of taking more time to make the best lay-out for your Friendster profile. Geez, no matter how cool your profile is, it really doesn’t matter as for Friendster is making more and more money because of you. Ask Makoy and you will know why.
